Trust

Planetary them of the month for February TRUST “You let me down”. ‘I trusted you”. “How can you trust men/women? They’re all the same”. Have you ever been “done up?” lied to or about, or had someone change their mind at the last minute and left you with extra pressure. That can really take us back a step.   You may trust a person because you know they are not going to gossip about you or your goings on in life. Being overly controlling or wanting to know where you are at all times implies trust issues. These can sometimes be the people who eventually betray the relationship.

Love and Forgiveness can be freely given. Trust is usually built up and earned. There can be people we may have met for the first time and our sense says that we can trust them implicitly. When building a relationship, there must be input by both parties even if at first there can be an element of caution. Trust will involve qualities like having confidence and feeling safe or comfortable with the person or party. If the person has commitment and spiritual integrity you know that you can count on them. How can you trust the trees to grow if you don’t water them?’ All the same, where you trust someone in one area they could just as easily avoid you or let you down in another area. We are not all perfect in everyone’s eyes. And that’s normal. This is where communication and taking responsibility for our actions is important.

From a larger perspective, we talk or hear about there being a lack of trust with some of our banks and politicians (and yes even some of our churches). Where we expect Trust and fairness, the power trip the people in these organisations wield can result in betrayal, rejection and personal and community, mental, physical and financial stress. We need our leaders to create more certainty, fairness and positiveness. Rather than the greedy, me first, me second, me third scenario that is portrayed. So what does this mean for you? You trust (and take for granted) that you are going to take the next breathe. What about trusting yourself to mind your own business, stay positive and say encouraging things to people. What about trusting you will cease that bad habit or exercise regularly instead of carrying that excess weight. Do you trust the televison or internet more than your ability to get out of the house and make a difference by fellowshipping with people?

It sounds like with Trust, you have to make an effort! With trust, do you do what you say you’re going to do? Do you know what you want (direction), and what you want to gain from the situations you are in? – Or, do you take it all for granted, and do things purely for your own convenience? We are all sensitive – First and foremost we need to trust our own sensitivity. Our sensitivity can tell us how much we can count with a person at this point in time, so we don’t feel let down, but empowered. Spiritual leadership is important. It is about being an example and trusting yourself. This is where being shown (and showing others) how to stay spiritually cleansed and being able to communicate with your own trusted advisors, your guidance/ spirit guide/ angels, can make such a welcome addition to your life. It’s like a breath of fresh air, a feeling of coming home.

Like most things, it takes a little practice, commitment and regular positive communication to work in the higher spiritual realm.  Anybody can attract confused souls, just focus on those negative thoughts and emotions and lack of direction for too long and see who joins your pity party. You know, like attracts like. Your Angels/guides are here to work with what is in your best interest, if you let them, if you ask them! So what are you waiting for? Trust yourself to have a great day! And make it better for everyone.
